Michelle Bitting is my hero.

I received in the mail the other day a copy of Michelle Bitting's chapbook Blue Laws, now available from Finishing Line Press. I was absolutely blown away by the collection - her poems are raw, strong-voiced and full of something undefinable but really, really good.

So I googled her today (sorry, Michelle, if you google yourself and find this - I swear I'm not stalking you, but rather just really excited about your poems), and found a YouTube video of a reading she did in Redondo Beach. Check it out:
